At Atelier Perséphone, we are particularly fond of artistic creations and art in general. But although we believe that art should be accessible to everyone and that we don't value one art above another (even if we have our preferences, of course!), it is sometimes difficult to have access to it. Going to the museum on a weekly basis is a bit tiring...
It's in this desire to have small pieces of art at our fingertips that the Atelier Perséphone has created the « Pocket Museum » collection, a small piece of museum at our fingertips.
With its dominant golden colours, Gustav Klimt's Pallas Athene (1898) is one of the favourite paintings of the Atelier Perséphone during its golden period. Measuring at the base 75 x 75 cm, the Atelier transformed this painting representing the mythological deity Athena into enamel pin, to be worn everywhere. Beneath the face of the goddess is a gorgon, sticking out her tongue. She holds a spear in her right hand, and on her left she is holding a statue of Nike (personification of victory).
This enamel pin can be hung anywhere with two pin stoppers on its back, to be stable on any type of fabric.
