At Atelier Perséphone, we are particularly fond of art and artistic creations. But we also believe that art should be accessible to everyone and that we don't value one art above another (even if we have our tastes!), it is sometimes difficult to have access to it. Going to the museum on a weekly basis is a bit tiring…
It's in this wish to have small pieces of art at our fingertips that the Atelier Perséphone has created the « Pocket Museum » collection, a small piece of museum as enamel pin.
The artist Albert-Joseph Pénot seemed to greatly appreciate the image of the witch and the monstrous women. Although he also did landscapes, the Atelier Perséphone especially appreciated his female nudes and his paintings of strong women.
This is why the creator of Atelier Persephone liked his painting of the « Batwoman » (1890) so much, and why this beautiful woman with animal wings was adapted as enamel pin! From now on, wear the figure of the macabre Batwoman on any piece of fabric.
